Wolf Den Land Trust

This is another one of those sort of weird, sort of difficult to parse land trusts in Connecticut. For one thing, Wolf Den is tightly aligned with an outfit called “The Eastern Connecticut Forest Landowners.” Their shared vision and mission is good of course, but their listings of trailed properties could use some work.
They state that they are :an organization run by forest owners, for forest owners,” and, “are not trying sell anything but the concept of being a good steward of the land.” That’s cool. They’re more about forest protection than forest recreation. I can support that… but I can also explore their properties that allow me to do so.
